Deere & Company is a global manufacturer and distributor of numerous types of equipment. The company operates in four divisions: Precision Agriculture and Production, Small Agriculture and Turf, Construction and Forestry, and Financial Services.

The Production and Precision Agriculture division supplies grain growers with mid-size tractors, combines, cotton pickers and strippers, sugarcane loaders, harvesting front-end equipment, sugarcane harvesters, pull-behind scrapers, and tillage and seeding equipment, as well as application equipment such as sprayers and nutrient management.

The Small Agriculture and Turf division offers utility tractors, loaders, and attachments; turf and utility equipment, commercial mowing equipment including riding lawn mowers, golf course equipment, and utility vehicles; and implements for mowing, tilling, snow and aerating, debris handling, and residential, commercial, golf, and sports turf care applications. Additionally, this section resells products produced by other companies. Its customers include dairy and animal producers, agricultural growers, turf and utility companies. Construction and Forestry crawler dozers and loaders, four-wheel-drive loaders, excavators, motor graders, articulated dump trucks, landscape and skid-steer loaders, milling machines, pavers, compactors, rollers, crushers, log feller bunchers, screens, asphalt plants, log skidders, log loaders and forwarders, log harvesters and attachments; and road building equipment. Financial Services loans and leases agricultural and turf equipment, as well as construction and forestry equipment. Additionally, it provides wholesale financing to dealers of the aforementioned equipment, as well as extended equipment guarantees and retail revolving charge accounts. Deere & Company has its headquarters in Moline, Illinois.
